Currently, for our Brussels office, we are looking for a Facilities Assistant to join our team for a permanent contract.

How you will make a difference in the team

By making the office a welcoming place to work!

  • You will assist in the operational tasks, in close collaboration with the Facilities Manager, covering following areas:
    • General Facility Tasks:
      • Maintaining and purchasing office supplies
      • Coordination and follow up of deliveries/repairs/…
      • Coordination Facility helpdesk
      • Internal Facility Communication (including intranet)
      • Managing (external) Cleaning Team
      • Co-creating and maintaining Facility policies, procedures, and work instructions.
    • Office/Building management: from purchasing office supplies to tender new suppliers.
    • Local Environmental management: registering and analysing annual consumption of energy.
    • Mobility Management
  • Operational car fleet management and promotion of alternative ways of transportation
  • You will be taking part in setting up and maintaining the company car management tool.
    • Building Security & access Management
    • Safety team member: evacuation, first aid, …
  • Furthermore, there is a role for you in the logistics part of organizing events (internally and externally).

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have minimum a high school degree. A first experience is plus.
  • Be proficient in English and fluent in French or Dutch.
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Can handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Master Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Have a proactive approach, organizational and time-management skills.
  • Be service minded with a welcoming attitude.
  • Be hands-on and solution oriented.
  • Adapt and evolve in the role, with a focus on facility management tasks.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Be a team player.
